About

Wistow Maze

A Winner of Leicestershire’s “Best Visitor Attraction”

Wistow Maze is a giant 8-acre Maize Maze with a fun Quiz Trail hidden amongst 3 miles of pathways, with high-level bridges and viewing towers giving stunning panoramic views of the maze and beautiful surrounding countryside.

Each year the maze is redesigned using GPS satellite technology, and for 2021 it has been designed in the shape of a ‘Phoenix’ rising from the flames, and the quiz trail will be themed on other mythical creatures.

The maze includes an "Activity Funyard" packed with mini mazes and games for all ages, including 6 minute mazes, hoopla, beanbag throwing and a football shooting game, which can be played on before or after entering the giant maze.

Opposite the maze is the Wistow Rural Centre with a cafe/bistro, Mediterranean deli, garden centre, art gallery, model village and shops selling jewellery, women's clothing, dog accessories, furniture, home fragrances and gifts galore, making it a fun day out for all the family.

A great day out for school visits, office outings and anyone from 2 – 92!

Opens: Monday 19 July – Sunday 5 September (daily), then weekends only until Sunday 19 September 2021.

Visit www.wistow.com for more information, including directions, prices, how the maze was made, picture gallery (with all 17 maze designs) and info on all the shops at the Wistow Rural Centre.
