About

Horseshoe Cottage Farm

Horseshoe Cottage Farm is an award-winning self-contained retreat. Located amidst the stunning rolling hills of the Leicestershire countryside, within the Charnwood Geo Park and the National Forest, it provides a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life.

The beautiful stone barn conversion is conveniently located opposite the historic Bradgate Park, boasting over 850 acres of wild and unspoilt countryside, home to two herds of deer and the ruins of Lady Jane Grey’s childhood home, all of which you’ll be able to explore and enjoy.

Horseshoe Cottage Farm offers three luxury bedrooms, providing comfortable accommodation for up to six guests. This set up is perfect for family, friends or even colleagues looking to spend quality time together. For those looking to truly unwind, one of the standout features of this retreat is the bespoke woodfired hot tub.

Whilst the cottage is luxurious and relaxing, it also emphasises its commitment to sustainability providing an electric vehicle charging point (charges apply), local organic toiletries, biomass heating and solar panels. This is an excellent option for environmentally conscious travellers.

Horseshoe Cottage Farm promises to create lasting memories that will be cherished forever. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from the chaos of daily life, reconnect with loved ones and immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Leicestershire countryside.
