About

Tom JJ Duo

Tom JJ Julian-Jones joins us with Max Revell on drums. Tom JJ is well known as guitarist in the Cinelli Brothers, a dynamic 4-piece band from London who won the 2024 UK Blues Federation's "UK Blues Band of the Year".

Born and raised in London, Tom comes from a classical music background, studying trumpet from the age of eight. He saw two musical films aged twelve that had a profound effect on how he viewed music. The Blues Brothers (John Landis) and The Last Waltz (Martin Scorsese). During his teenage years he emersed himself in all forms of American roots music and taught himself Harmonica and Guitar. By the time he was 25 he was a mainstay on the London blues scene and began touring internationally with other artists. During this time, he released and EP (Little lies) and a full album of original material (Simple Truths). In 2018 Tom joined the Cinelli Brothers. The band has gone from strength to strength, releasing four studio albums, winning multiple awards and competitions, touring the UK, Europe and the USA with 250 plus shows a year.
