About

Max & Veronica

This was great entertainment and music that put a smile on your face. The audience flocked
around the stage enthusiastically lapping up the old style blues pouring from it - Digital Blues

When it comes to knowing about Americana these two are right up there! Country blues, ragtime,
vaudeville and even a little old time C&W. Max is a very accomplished guitarist and a strong vocalist, whilst Veronica plays a mean washboard, ukulele and possesses a strong vocal styling. Very uplifting music! So if you get the chance to see this duo in concert, take it!- Mike Vernon

Currently on their UK tour, Max and Veronica are scooting into Market Harborough for one night only so don't miss it! Individually esteemed and accomplished artists, they join forces to create a truly exceptional musical experience. Armed with nothing but their raw, soulful voices and a handful of acoustic instruments, this captivating duo has crafted an extraordinary repertoire encompassing the rich tapestry of American Roots music. Their range spans from the soulful realms of Country and Folk to the infectious beats of Ragtime and Swing, embracing the spiritual essence of Gospel and the emotive depths of Blues, and back again. Yet, their allure extends beyond mere musicality. Their melodious tales possess a unique power to evoke emotions, and their unwavering dedication to tradition resonates profoundly. Prepare to embark on an unforgettable journey through the music history of the Southern States of America during the 1920s and 1930s, as their renditions transport your senses. While their songs and stories are steeped in the past, their music breathes with a vibrant contemporary energy, perfectly suited for the eyes, ears, hearts, and souls of the modern era.
