An excellent display of Emergency Vehicles namely Fire engines (vintage and current) Ambulances, Police Cars and many other response service vehicles. Demonstration of these working displays will also take place on the event day. The Majestic Beam Engine will be running and also the Steam locomotive.
All other vintage vehicles namely Leicester Corporation Busses, Tower Wagon, Electric Bread Van and Milk Float etc will be on display on the grounds.
Treat yourself to a packet of freshly made chips from the vintage coal fired Chip Van
Cafe will be open for light refreshments
Train rides cost 50p cash to be paid at the trains.
Event Parking: Parking is located at the National Space Centre situated next to the museum. The Space Centre car park is on Exploration Drive, post code LE4 5NS. The walkway entrance to Abbey Pumping Station is clearly signposted next to the car park.
