Performed by students of De Montfort University.
Curve and De Montfort University (DMU) present the electrifying 13 by Mike Bartlett. Directed by Curve’s Associate Director Cara Nolan, this gripping and provocative drama will be performed by drama students from the university.
Set in a near-future London and exploring a society on the brink of upheaval, the play follows John, a charismatic and mysterious young man whose powerful speeches ignite hope amongst the disillusioned.
With its blend of personal stories and emotionally charged characters, 13 resonates deeply with today’s world and asks us to consider the cost of belief, the power of collective action, and the fragility of democracy.
