The Little Theatre is a predominantly voluntary run theatre in the heart of Leicester.
The theatre welcomes over 30,000 people a year to its 350 seat auditorium. It is home to Leicester Drama Society, who put on 12 shows and a popular Christmas pantomime each year. The society boasts patrons such as Sir Anthony Hopkins, Tim Pigott-Smith and Honorary Life President Lord Richard Attenborough, who once trod the boards at The Little Theatre himself, as well as having Joe Orton as one of its alumni. The venue also hosts other societies, touring shows, ballets and variety shows.
The Little Theatre is also a regular host venue during Leicester Comedy Festival, and has welcomed the likes of Michael McIntyre, Lee Mack and Frankie Boyle to its stage.
