About

Try your hand at clay pigeon and air rifle shooting

At Kibworth Shooting Ground, all are welcome to try the sports of air rifle and clay pigeon shooting. Training is offered with experienced instructors who can provide tailored sessions appropriate to the individual. All sessions begin with full safety briefings in the coaching room.

An ‘Introduction to Airgun Shooting’ ...

Air rifle is a shooting event at the Olympics that requires high levels of accuracy, precision and speed in shooting.  If you are not even sure you’d hit the target at first attempt, then this is where you can start learning.

Start your shooting activity on one of the covered ranges. You’ll learn key shooting techniques as well as the all-important safe handling of the gun.

An Introduction to Clay Shooting lesson...

Begin with a 30-minute taster session or 1 hour introductory experience. This will cover stance, gun mounting and safe gun handling.  More experienced shooters can also have tailored shooting tuition.

After your session, enjoy a hearty breakfast or light lunch in the onsite Yummies Café. Kibworth Gun Shop onsite stocks a range of guns, rifles, shooting accessories and clothing.
