About

Get to know new furry friends on a walk with Alpacas & Donkeys

Head to the countryside to learn about alpacas and donkeys and then set off on a relaxing stroll as you get to know your new chums.

90 Minute Alpaca Walking Experience

Alpaca walking is great for those of you wishing to try an activity of a different nature. You’ll learn interesting alpaca facts before being partnered up with your new chum, and getting to know them on a personal level, as you take a relaxing stroll through the beautiful farmland. Your trekking escapade will begin with plenty of time for pictures and alpaca selfies! Alpaca Walk experience is not suitable for children aged 4 and under (and possibly for children aged up to 6)

45 Minute Donkey Walks

Donkey walks are a wonderful way to become familiar with these lovely animals and really get to know their personalities and behaviours, as well as learning about donkey welfare! The easy-going donkeys at Charnwood Forest Alpacas love getting to meet, walk and play with visitors and these walks are a great way to spend time with these sweet animals in close quarters. On arrival you’ll be met by the team and given an introductory session going over health & safety, then you’ll be paired up with the perfect donkey for you and you’ll set off to explore the picturesque 110-acre farm.
