Leicester is hosting a week of stupendous Street Art, gargantuan graffiti and awesome artists, plus music, events, family friendly fun and much more!

We delighted to welcome the Bring The Paint Festival back to Leicester! The award-winning festival boasts the largest line-up of internationally acclaimed street artists in the UK and this year’s is shaping up to be the most ambitious yet.

Alongside the huge selection of internationally recognised street artists creating over 30 large-scale public artworks across the city there are loads of events and activities to get involved with, from tours to gigs to workshops and family fun days. Read on to find out what’s in store this year!


Murals and street art

Since 2017 Bring The Paint has changed the face of our city, with more than 500 artists from 30 countries create over 40,000 m2 of street art. This year’s festival has more partners and more world-class artists than ever before. Check out where it’s all happening


Saturday Outdoor Skate Session

Join us at Jubilee Square on Saturday 25 May as Redbull sponsors the Bring The Paint skate session. Whatever your level, come along and get involved in this lively event where you can show your moves to a soundtrack provided by live DJs.


Sunday Family Fun Day at The Mill

On Sunday 26 May, head to the Mill in Frog Island as the festival concludes with a chilled out day full of family activities. Jake and Nayns will be there serving their delicious pasties alongside amazing cakes from Bitsy’s Emporium of Awesome. There will be spray painting, face painting, and a Pedestrian’s DJ skills workshop, plus more family friendly stuff.


Events, music, talks and workshops

Supported by PPL PRS Limited and Red Bull, internationally acclaimed DJs and musicians will soundtrack the festival and entertain the thousands of visitors and residents expected during the week.

Throughout the festival you can attend talks, workshops and exhibitions; from ‘learn to spraypaint’ and DJ workshops to an international artist symposium, street art tours and immersive exhibitions to graffiti and posca pen workshops.
