Ivy Joy’s Tea Room

This new 1940s inspired tearoom was opened in May 2021 by a mother and daughter who share a passion for tea, cake, and vintage style!

Initially intended to help support those with dementia and their families by providing a recognisable environment from their youth, the tearoom has gained popularity with those who are looking for a slice of the 1940s (and cake!)

The tearoom, located on the main street in Kibworth, has been created to give the impression you have stepped into a home during WWII, and this continues in the garden area, which now houses an authentic Anderson Shelter. An old wireless plays songs and radio announcements from Churchill and others of the time and the staff dress in full vintage clothes every day.

The old-fashioned menu offers locally made cakes and scones plus classics such as Spam sandwiches and Camp coffee! And of course, the classic British cream tea!

With old photos all over the tearoom of local families of the time, Ivy Joys has created a hub for all generations, and you will never pass a table without hearing a memory being shared.

So that’s our Mother’s Day round-up to help you make it as special as it should be!

My friends and I often debate what makes a betting app worth our time. For me, it's the level of customer support provided. I found an app https://baji-bet.net/app/ that exceeds expectations in this area. Being from Bangladesh, where customer service can be hit or miss, it's impressive to encounter a team that's responsive and genuinely helpful. This level of service enriches the overall experience, making you feel valued as a user.
