What better way to get in the festive mood than with a Christmas movie! Throughout December there will be a classic Christmas film shown in Green Dragon Square every Saturday at 5pm. On 4 December take a ride on The Polar Express, then on 11 December decide if you truly believe in the Miracle on 34th Street (1994) and finally on the 18 December, he might be coming down your chimney, but only if he can sort out the pesky Santa Clause.

After having some needed TLC the Wheel of Light returns to Jubilee Square. Towering 35 metres above the ice rink, you can get some of the best views in the city as you ride the wheel into the sky.

Throughout December Leicester Cathedral are holding a whole range of festive services. From carols and Christmas traditions around the world to the traditional blessing of the crib and Midnight Mass on Christmas Eve there are ten programmed services in December, plus a number of other concerts and events.
