About

The Philosophy of Love

Eros - Agape - Philia - Storge - Mania - Ludus - Pragma - Philautia

What kind of Love is that?

The Greeks understood the complexity and variety of love and had at least eight terms for different kinds of love. From Eros the romantic love, to Storge the unconditional family love, to Agape the empathetic universal love, we present a programme of music focusing on these different types of love from ancient music to more recent times. A varied programme which will get you thinking in new ways about the myriad ways to love..

Join Kingfisher Chorale for a delightful summer evening of music.
