Travelling by Train into Leicester
Leicester lies on the London-Sheffield and the Birmingham-Peterborough lines. Leicester Railway Station is ideally situated on the A6 London Road. You can walk straight out of the station and into the main shopping area of the city within five minutes.

Travelling by Car
The M1, junction 21 or 22, provide good access to Leicester and surrounding area. The M69 and M6 also offer easy access to the rest of the UK.
Parking is widely available, with 8,500 parking spaces available in the city centre and 2,580 additional car parking spaces available at the three Park & Ride sites.
Follow the car park zone signs to find a space at one of the city’s many car parks – all of the multi-storey car parks in the city centre are well sign-posted and have up-to-date real-time availability clearly shown, so if your first choice is full, carry on to the next car park with available spaces.
Travelling by Coach into Leicester
St. Margaret’s Bus Station is a few minutes’ walk to the shops and the main shopping centres. National Express offers national coach services to Leicester.

Travelling by Air to Leicester
The airports closest to Leicester are East Midlands Airport (approximately 20 miles from the city centre) and Birmingham Airport (approximately 37 miles ).
The frequent and direct Skylink bus runs from East Midlands Airport to the city every 20 minutes during the day and hourly at night: 24 hours a day, seven days a week. Birmingham airport is accessible by train via Birmingham New Street.
