The Cosy Club in Leicester is a modern bar and restaurant, housed in a beautifully restored former knitwear factory.
The history of the building adds a unique atmosphere to your dining experience - the transformation of the building from factory to restaurant bar was done carefully, ensuring the original industrial feel of this wonderful site was retained. The interior features brightly coloured cotton and spinning wheels within the bar and some original textile pieces from Leicester on the walls. It has a strong sense of the original feel with ceiling high windows, authentic factory lighting, bare steel riveted girders and original stone walls. This, combined with the quirky and eccentric Cosy Club stamp, makes it a must for a visit.
Inside the restaurant you can dine on classic dishes in relaxed style, or lounge on the comfy sofas and chairs with a drink in the bar area. Hiding away at the back is the Cosy Club secret garden – a small but perfectly formed outdoor space in the heart of the city. Equipped with heaters, parasols and blankets at the ready, it’s a great place to enjoy the fresh air any time of the year.
If you’re looking for a more private dining experience, check out the Loom Room downstairs – with its very own bar, the room is available for bookings for parties of up to 45 people.
