About

Broughton Astley Rock Choir

If you are pondering whether there is a 'pop or gospel choir near me' then you may be interested in the local Rock Choir.

The local Leicester choir is run by singer/pianist Sarah Stephens. The choir is for all ages and all the local Leicestershire branches of Rock Choir, like ours come together to do incredible events like the 20,000 seat O2 Arena and Guinness World Record attempts (The Rock Choir members have got 3 world records and even had personal certificates arranged for them) and community events too like the local Leicestershire music and food festivals.

We sing in Leicester every week during term time. You can join the choir by going to rockchoir.com or you can also book a FREE singing taster session to try it beforehand. If you feel you're not ready to join a choir yet, why not visit our performances page at rockchoir.com to see when we're next performing locally in Leicester or Leicestershire. There you can come along to see what we're all about - local people bringing the local Leicester community together through something as simple as singing for the fun of it.

Here is a quote about our choir - 'My 12 year old daughter Abbii and I both sing in Rock Choir. It is great to do something together that we both really enjoy. We have sung at Disneyland Paris and Guilfest, and I have been on the Paul O'Grady Show. What an experience! ' - Judith (Rock Choir member)

Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award [https://rockchoir.com/awards-achievements/]. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
