This two-day event attracts thousands of visitors, re-enactors and traders from across the UK and takes place on Saturday 17th and Sunday 18th August this year, at the Bosworth Battlefield Heritage Centre.
The event features battle re-enactments by the combined forces of the Wars of the Roses Federation, including The Battle of Bosworth as the finale on both days. In addition there is always a busy programme of other displays in the event arena.
As well as the spectacle of the battle re-enactments and other programmed displays, there is plenty more to see and do!
Visitors can talk to re-enactors about the period in their authentic camps, as well as having the chance to visit the award winning exhibition to learn more about The Battle Of Bosworth and it's place in The Wars Of The Roses (free exhibition admission over the weekend).
The event's supporting programme includes the chance for visitors to participate in a hands-on 'Bill drill', take part in a DIY Battle Of Bosworth or attend an author talk (additional charges apply). And there will also be plenty of choices for food and drink, as well as opportunities to buy a souvenir of a great day out from the medieval market or the Bosworth Field Shop.
This is a colourful and fun event for all ages and for those with younger children, there is story-telling, a fancy dress competition and Knight School.
