Y Heritage Summer Fete

Come to the stunning Grade II listed Y Theatre to play traditional side-shows and parlour games. All games will be free and can be played by adults and children alike making it perfect for your Heritage Open Day visit.

Come along to the Y Theatre, close to the centre of the City and a stones' throw from Leicester railway station. Built in 1900, The Y is the oldest surviving theatre in Leicester. Go back in time and have fun at The Y Heritage Summer Fete with original sideshows, Edwardian and mid-20th Century games.

All sideshows and games will be free and can be played by adults and children alike making it perfect for a family Heritage Open Day visit. Traditionally dressed 'Barkers' will be on hand to encourage visitors to play, show you the tricks to make you a winner and how to avoid the showman's traps, there might even be prizes for the winners!
