Where's the Park in Clarendon Park?

Do you want to learn more about the history and stories of Clarendon Park? Then why not join Leicester Civic Society's guided walk!

Your guide, Peter Kilty, will lead you on a circular walk to explore the suburb of Clarendon Park, which until the final quarter of the 19th century consisted mainly of fields.

It was largely developed between 1875 and 1890 when the Clarendon estate was split up and sold off for building.
