About

Total Recall 30th Anniversary Screening

They stole his mind, now he wants it back.

When a man goes for virtual vacation memories of the planet Mars, an unexpected and harrowing series of events forces him to go to the planet for real – or does he?

With a budget of $50–65 million, Total Recall was one of the most expensive films made at the time of its release. The film ultimately grossed $261 million worldwide and won an Academy Award for Best Visual Effects.

The original screenplay was written by Dan O'Bannon and Ronald Shusett, the writers of Alien and is loosely based on the Philip K. Dick short story "We Can Remember It for You Wholesale".
