The Victory Show

The Victory Show

The Victory Show is an annual event that replicates the 1940's War Years; the largest WWII re-enactment of its kind in the UK and beyond! The event takes place at Foxlands Farm, Cosby, Leicestershire

The event is intended to re-create the 1940's experience. In particular, the Show wishes to commemorate the courage, hardships and endurance of our parents, grandparents and event great-grandparents during WWII.

The Show is a 3-day event, with Friday predominately being an Educational Day for school children and their teachers. It gives children an insight into what life was like during the war years, allows them to get up close to the static aircraft, tanks and military vehicles. The children also have the opportunity to have educational talks with the many re-enactor groups who attend the Show from all over the country.

Visitors will be able to view one of the largest displays of period vehicles including tanks, artillery and soft skinned vehicles, some of which participate in the re-enactment battles.

Trade stalls selling a wide range of items including militaria, uniforms, 1940's collectables and vehicle spares!

One of the many attractions is the extensive air display that runs throughout the weekend with wartime aircraft such as the Spitfire, Dakota DC-3 and P-51 Mustang; enhancing the static displays and other aircraft both in the air and on the ground.

There are lots of activities on over the entire weekend to keep the whole family entertained, including large model boats and aircraft display, huge army encampment, tank rides, re-enactment battle, air display, 1940's themed evening dinner dance, trade stalls and so much more! There really is something for all the family!
