The Romans in Leicestershire & Rutland

A Series of 6 Lectures on the archaeology of the Roman period locally by Peter Liddle MBE - former County Archaeologist for Leicestershire on Thursdays from 2pm - 4pm at The Guildhall.

Prior booking is useful but not essential. Attend the whole course or just come to individual lectures.

Lectures include: The Late Iron Age and the Roman Invasion; Roman Leicester; Market Towns, Industry and Roads; Roman Countryside; Roman Religion & Burial;The End of Roman Leicestershire & Rutland.
