About

Sally Barker + Chris Conway & Dan Britton + Andy Griffiths

Whether singing as Tom Jones' finalist on BBC TV's The Voice, the songs of Sandy Denny in the reformed Fotheringay, revered fem-folk group The Poozies or as a solo artist supporting Bob Dylan, Robert Plant and Richard Thompson, Sally Barker brings any song gloriously to life.

A singer/songwriter whose back catalogue encompasses folk, jazz, blues and soul, she reduced Sir Tom Jones to tears as he mentored her through to the final of The Voice 2014. She remains fiercely independent and true to her craft either solo (Feb 2017 CD 'Ghost Girl') or as a duo with Vicki Genfan (Sept 2017 CD 'In the Shadow of a Small Mountain'), or as a member of fab allfemale trio I O T A (with Anna Ryder and Marion Fleetwood). A truly captivating performer as much at home in a folk club as on national television. "Sally changes the atmosphere in a room when she sings" (BBC Radio 2's Chris Evans).

Chris Conway & Dan Britton Blending a West Coast US sound with touches of Celtic and jazz, Chris Conway and Dan Britton are a powerful multi-instrumental duo of singer-songwriters who have played together for 26 years. Their last album Safe Harbour got great reviews and another is due out this year. Together they have supported Bob Geldof, Jefferson Starship, Country Joe McDonald, and Roy Wood. As well as their solo careers they are also part of the popular Celtic band Govannen, who have sold 15,000 albums worldwide.

Making a full band sound between them, with guitars, keyboards, Irish whistles, and kalimba, there is a seamless blend that only such a long association brings. They are joined by percussionist Neil Rabjohn and played a series of concerts with Sally Barker last year and they join her onstage to great effect. www.chrisconway.org www.danbritton.co.uk www.chrisconway.org/chrisdan.html

Andy Griffiths Andy is a wonderful singer-songwriter who has worked with Sally and Chris & Dan numerous times in the past. Sally has covered his song Southern Cross, and Andy has covered Dan's song Snow And The Fire so he was a natural to add to the bill. His album Big Red Monster got rave reviews.
