About

Museum of the Moon

Luke Jerram's stunning Museum of the Moon will return to Leicester Cathedral this October, with each centimetre of the internally lit spherical sculpture representing 5km of the moon's surface.

Measuring seven metres in diameter, the moon features detailed NASA imagery of the lunar surface for a truly awe-inspiring experience.

The Cathedral, in partnership with BIDLeicester, are delighted to welcome back Luke Jerram's Museum of the Moon in the year we commemorate the 50th anniversary of the moon landing.

After costs, any profits from the week will support the Cathedral's work including Leicester's Homelessness Charter.

Admission is by donation, suggested: Adults £2.00 | Under 18s £1.00 Evening Events priced individually, per person.
