Urban Sketchers Leicester

Let's Draw New Walk & New Walk Museum

Let's Draw New Walk & New Walk Museum

All are very welcome to join Urban Sketchers Leicester - unofficial sketching along Leicester's historic New Walk and New Walk Museum.

11.15am - Meet inside the main entrance foyer to New Walk Museum. The idea is to go off and draw outdoors along the pedestrianised New Walk or inside in the galleries in the museum.

1.30pm - Meet back at main foyer entrance of New Walk Museum to view work and take a group photo. Have lunch/ coffee in the cafe for those that would like to - it's a chance to chat, share tips and look at sketchpads, work etc and then head back out to draw.

3.30pm - Meet back at main entrance to have a look at the afternoon's work.

Bring your own drawing materials, stool, warm clothes and provisions etc. It is a chance to meet people in the community, sketch, chat, share tips - beginners/ experienced all welcome. Let us know if can make it or pop by on the day.

You're very welcome to upload your sketches to our FB page at any time. Please feel free to tag in any venues you are in or surrounding area to help create more awareness of the city.
