Leicester Print Fair

Leicester Print Fair

Leicester Print Fair

Leicester Print Workshop will be hosting their first annual contemporary print event, selling original prints on Saturday 13th July, 11am – 5pm.

Leicester Print Fair will showcase printmakers from across the UK. The free-to-attend event will promote printmaking in its various forms; including relief, letterpress, intaglio, monoprint, screenprinting, bookmaking and lithography.

All work, including original prints, textiles, greetings cards, jewellery, unique gifts and more will be for sale, with stalls taking over the whole Leicester Print Workshop building. Visitors will be able to purchase work, meet participating artists and learn more about their work. This will be the perfect opportunity to buy an affordable, original and unique piece of art for your home. Artists will be offering high-quality work. Prices at the fair will be suitable for anyone's budget, with prints starting from £15.

As well as fantastic art, Leicester Print Fair will offer visitors something to drink and eat with PETE on the street. PETER, Leicester and Loughborough's favourite pizzeria will be bringing a fully functional wood burning oven to LPW in an old shipping container… on wheels! Perfect if you fancy something different. Really Awesome Coffee will also be offering visitors an extensive menu of gourmet coffees, luxury hot chocolates and other café favourites, chai team lattes, fresh fruit vegetable smoothies, as well as iced coffees, frappes and milkshakes.

The fair is also designed as a fundraising event, to support LPW's charitable work, and will promote Leicester Print Workshop's September 2019 – February 2020 programme of exhibitions, events and courses.
