This year LCB Depot celebrates its 20th year of being Leicester's creative hub and supporting creative growth in Leicester, Leicestershire and beyond. As part of this celebration visitors can attend art exhibitions, creative talks, networking events and a family friendly day.
The LCB Depot creative programme for 'LCB20' is an exciting opportunity for visitors to explore mixed media artworks, ceramics, printmaking, painting, fashion, design, drumming, documentary film and more made in Leicester/shire and beyond by artists, makers and businesses that have a connection to the LCB Depot. The 'LCB20' exhibition will launch on Friday 27 September, 5pm - 10pm as part of LastFriday our cultural and street food night and continues until Friday 18 October.
We are pleased to announce our second artist commission as part of 'LCB20' working with illustrator, cartoonist and curator Zu Dominiak to coincide with the celebration of our 20th anniversary, commissioned in collaboration with Vehicle Arts and part funded by Arts Council England. Visitors can expect to see a range of art, craft, design and film in this group exhibition along with a newly commissioned collection of ceramic artworks and paintings associated with the theme of home by Zu Dominiak.
