About

Jubilee Square Ice Rink

Due to popular demand the real ice rink is back in Jubilee Square!

The rink has a clear roof so you can show off your best moves come rain or shine, plus a new feature this year is an outdoor ice trail. The Jubilee Square experience is crowned by the magnificent Wheel of Light soaring above the skaters giving the best view of the city's lights.

No need to worry about the weather – come rain or shine you can glide happily under a clear roof, looking up at the Christmas Wheel of Light.

Feeling a bit wobbly? Skating aids are available for younger skaters to hire, making the ice rink great fun and safe for all the family. A limited number of skate aids will be available to hire either online or in person at the skate collection point with cash only. There are a number of special themed sessions, including the Filbert Fox on Ice, Bollywood on Ice, Christmas Costume Competitions and Football Forum Live on Ice.

Bring your friends, your family, neighbours – the more the merrier, especially as groups of four or more people will receive a discounted price. The rink is also available to hire for Christmas parties and private events and is the perfect way to burn off those extra Christmas Calories!
