Holocaust Memorial Day Commemoration

About

Holocaust Memorial Day Commemoration

Free drop-in event - no booking necessary. Remember the many killed in the Holocaust, in recent genocides and in fleeing danger to seek sanctuary.

Listen to readings of the testimonies of survivors and personal stories of family members lost.

View an exhibition of the Wiener Library from its origins in the holocaust to the present day. Watch an installation by artist George Sfougaras of two films exploring the loss of the Jewish community in Greece through images and poetry, and the illustrated story 'A Winter's Night in Prague', accompanied by a lament by Israeli Oud player Gal Hever.

Take part in a Foundation Stones workshop to create your own message or image to be included as part of the new National Holocaust Memorial.
