Heritage Open Days Western Park

Take a leisurely walk around this attractive late Victorian park.

Led by a Parks Officer, the walk will provide an insight into the park's history and development. Focusing on the park's archaeology, landscape and woodland management over the years. There will also be an insight into how the park is managed today, including information about recent conservation initiatives and on-going environmental improvement works.

Pre-booking is required. To book contact the Visit Leicester Information Centre. Please leave a message and a member of staff will return your call as soon as possible. Toilets available on site. Walk includes grass, woodland paths, with the occasional slope. Ground may become waterlogged after prolonged rainfall. Sturdy and appropriate footwear recommended.
