Heritage Open Days celebrates England's fantastic architecture and history by offering free access to properties that are usually closed to the public or normally charge for admission.

The long weekend offers a once-a-year chance to discover hidden architectural treasures and enjoy a wide range of tours, events and activities.

Please note the following changes to event details, confirmed after publication of the brochure:

Abbey Pumping Station Engine House Tours – There will not be free access to Abbey Pumping Station on Sunday 10 September due to a paid event. Drop in free on Thursday and Friday. Tours on Saturday 9 September remain as advertised.

St Peters Church, Belgrave – Due to circumstances beyond our control the church is unable to open on Thursday and Friday as scheduled in brochure.
