About

Heritage Open Days Explore the LCB Depot and Makers' Yard

The LCB Depot was built in 1969 and was the local bus company's Administration Office.

In 2004 it was re-modelled to create a business centre for Leicester's creative industries. The Makers' Yard is a former Victorian hosiery factory and warehouse, which opened in 2013 as studios for artists and designer-makers.Throughout the festival there will be the opportunity to digitally explore both sites.

You can share your stories and take part in online creative activities which link to the former and current uses for the buildings.
