Gerald Dickens: The Signalman and Dr Marigold

Gerald Dickens: The Signalman and Dr Marigold

Gerald Dickens: The Signalman and Dr Marigold

A virtuoso performance by Gerald Dickens, of two little-known gems. The Signalman; a spine-chilling, atmospheric ghost story and Doctor Marigold; a tale of a fast talking salesman

The audience will have the chance to enter the world of Charles Dickens in the company of his great great grandson, as Gerald relives the haunting memories of a grisly railway disaster. This incredible one-man performance, once performed for audiences by Charles Dickens, is now presented by Gerald Dickens.

Dickens wrote Doctor Marigold to perform in his theatrical tours, so this chance to see Gerald continuing the tradition is a unique opportunity not to be missed. Doctor Marigold is a market trader, or cheapjack, with the "gift of the gab" and an instinct for selling.

Come along and enjoy this wonderful visit to the world of one of our greatest writers of all time.

Tickets from £10, please contact the Guildhall to book in advance.
