Friday Foundry Tours

Friday Foundry Tours

From 25 June onwards, we are delighted to offer a series of Friday afternoon tours of our foundry works! Visit the Access page on our website for more information about our buildings and what we are doing to keep you safe.

Please note that we are only able to admit visitors to the foundry floor if they are wearing flat, completely closed shoes. We advise visitors against any loose clothing and suggest wrapping up warmly during colder weather!

The Friday Foundry tour includes the following:
- Short video presentation introducing the Taylor bellfounders of Loughborough
- 90 minute guided tour of the foundry works and museum, including the clapper's shop, joiner's shop and tuning shop
- Tour of the museum, including access to the viewing gantry that overlooks the spectacular Victorian casting hall
- Family-friendly museum treasure hunt for younger visitors
- Complimentary takeaway gift bag
