NEW early season Plant Hunters' Fair at the 1620's House and Garden, Donington Le Heath on Sunday 22nd March with entry to the plant fair and garden at just £1.00.

At this time of year, there will be a brilliant line-up of nurseries attending who will come laden with flowering bulbs, early flowering perennials, shrubs and trees to provide instant colour and also lots of later flowering plants to get planted for colour into the summer and beyond. Now's the time to think ahead and plan that dream border for your garden.

Why not make a note of the date in your diary and plan to get your gardening year off to a brilliant start and as it is Mother's Day, why not bring Mum for a planty treat!

Surrounding the Manor House are period gardens and woodland planted as part of the development of the National Forest. The gardens, re-created in a 17th century style, include flower and herb gardens, an ornamental maze and an orchard.

The plant fair runs from 10am-4pm with entry to the plant fair and garden at just £1.00
