DMU Indian Classical Music Concert Series

Improvisation lies at the heart of Indian classical music. This concert features the maverick musician who presents the epitome of improvisation: Shashank, a household name in South India and Grammy nominated flute maestro

He is accompanied by stalwart musicians Srikanth Venkataraman (violin) and Parupalli Phalgun on the Mridangam (double barreled drum). Don't miss out on this special Carnatic concert (music of South India).

The Indian Classical Music Series is a collaboration between Darbar Arts and DMU Music.

This concert is free of charge. Suggested donation to Darbar Arts £5.00

Venue: Trinity House Chapel, The Newarke
