About

Curve on the Square

Celebrate the reopening of the city with us this summer at Curve on the Square - free live performances and activities for all the family throughout August.

Artists and community groups from across Leicester will come together to perform on our outdoor stage on Fridays and Saturdays during month, and all you have to do is take a seat!

Swing by Orton Square between 6pm and 9pm on Fridays for a post-work wind-down, where we'll ease you into the weekend with music, dance and spoken word.

On Saturdays, families are invited to join us for a morning of fun from 10am – 12 noon, before an afternoon programme for all ages between 2pm and 4pm, including puppetry, musical theatre and storytelling.

Then, start your night on the town with our evening bill from 6pm – 8pm, bursting with even more brilliant performances from DJs, musicians, dancers and more.

Our Outdoor Bar will be open during each Curve on the Square  session, serving hot and cold drinks and snacks for you to enjoy at your table* as you take in the performances on stage. For the latest event details, please revisit this page before each weekend.

Curve on the Square is part of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) Reopening High Streets Safely programme of activities, in association with Leicester City Council and BID Leicester.

Please note: In the event of poor weather, all performances will be moved into our Foyer at Curve.
*Table seating subject to availability.
