About

City Festival

City Festival celebrates everything we love about Leicester – right in the heart of the city. The 2018 festival takes place over seventeen fun-packed days, filling the city centre with street entertainment, sports, culture, music, art, heritage and more.

Now in its 6th year, the City Festival has grown to be one of the major events in our festival calendar. There will be new additions for 2018 plus many regular events that you’ve come to love over the years will be returning; offering a vast programme including old favourites as well as new additions, City Festival is a great reason to be in Leicester this August!
