About

Candlelit Witch Mark Tours

Join us this All-Hallows’ Eve for an atmospheric tour of our ancient house. The 17th Century was a very superstitious time: as such, certain measures and practices were undertaken to protect against such evils. Evidence of this is found throughout our house from markings on the walls & ceilings to burnings in wood and graffiti in windows.

Our wonderful volunteers will guide you on a tour through the house and you’ll learn about the various beliefs & superstitions of old and witness a collection of different marks made to protect the house from evil spirits.
