Battle of Bosworth Wine Tasting

Battle of Bosworth Wine Tasting

About

Battle of Bosworth Wine Tasting

Join local food writer and trained wine expert Laura Hadland at the King Richard III pub on Highcross Street for a relaxed evening of vinous fun.

The Rothley Wine Estate has been producing wines that win international and regional awards for nearly a decade. Their Battle of Bosworth series of wines is their most popular and most critically acclaimed.

The evening will start with a welcome glass of High Hopes, a white sparkling wine that picked up bronze at this year's Independent English Wine Awards, paired with delicious padron peppers.

Once guests are seated, they will receive a short introduction de-mystifying the art of wine tasting and then will enjoy the chance to experiment with flavour and texture by pairing 4 still Rothley Wines with a selection of English cheeses and other nibbles. Laura will explain the wines and the Richard III connection in this informal and entertaining evening celebrating our rich local culinary and historical traditions.
