Join the National Space Centre's Education team for an accessible day dedicated to SEN (Special Educational Needs) home educated children and their families.
Suitable for children from 6-14, sessions will allow children and adults (children remain the responsibility of accompanying adults at all times) to work together to achieve their own learning goals.

Our subject for this Home Education Day is STEAM Powered – Movement and Space
STEAM powered is an accessible programme, for children of all ages. It combines the movement of our bodies with space science and the use of digital technology, body trackers.
There are 2 sessions available, and these have been split into two different age categories. There are limited spaces in theses sessions to allow for enough space for the movement elements of the activity.
*there is a £1 booking fee per adult to cover the cost of the ticket provider.
The National Space Centre opens at 10am and you are free to explore the interactive galleries until 4pm.
In addition your ticket includes workshops appropriate to your key stage or age group.
Please note – we cannot change the times of your sessions once booked. Please do not book a group outside your age group:
Age 6–10 – 10am-11.30am Rocket Science and Movement / 1.40pm Journey Through the Solar System
Age 11-14 – 10.20am Tour of the Night Sky / 12noon-1.30pm Rocket Science and Movement
