The Belmont Hotel is situated on a peaceful, tree-lined promenade just a short walk from Leicester train station and the city centre.
The elegant Victorian townhouse started life as a family-run bed and breakfast over 80 years ago. Today the AA 3* rated boutique hotel is still operated by the same family. The hotel offers 74 rooms all individually designed and furnished with character, including an ensuite bathroom, flat screen TV and free WiFi.
The hotel’s Windows on New Walk restaurant serves up fabulous home cooked food, made with fresh, local ingredients for a dining experience with the ‘wow’ factor. The hotel also offers more casual dining and drinking options, from the cool, contemporary and chilled out Jamie’s Bistro to the buzzing atmosphere of Bowie’s Bar.
The hotel’s Orchard business centre provides conference facilities with rooms catering for one-to-one interviews through to facilities suitable for up to 175 delegates, plus a range of banqueting options. It is also one of Leicester’s favourite locations for weddings; the leafy Victorian conservation area together with the luxurious interiors make a romantic setting fitting for such a special occasion.
