About

Leicester Croquet Club

Leicester Croquet Club is an inclusive sports and recreation club for adults of all ages and abilities. What was once a popular Victorian pastime is now a growing game in Leicester, across the east midlands and throughout the country.

As with most games, there are a number of variations but all involve you getting a pair of croquet balls twice round the 6 hoops before your opponent does. Sounds easy, but not so as your opponent is knocking you away from the hoops at the same time. A game takes about 30 minutes to play. All you need to play is flat soled shoes (no heels), a water bottle and sun/rain protection.
