Morningside Arena

The Morningside Arena is Leicester’s most flexible and largest indoor event space, with a maximum capacity of 3,000 people. As well as being the home of the current British Basketball League Champions, the Leicester Riders, the Arena hosts a wide range of local, national, and international events, conferences, exhibitions, networking events, meetings and much more!

The Arena has a huge range of facilities and services available, including our dedicated and experienced onsite events team that can help you set up and deliver your event by providing Box Office services, online ticketing, and third-party supply chain support. With exclusive balcony areas with private bars and toilets, multiple toilet facilities and changing rooms, bespoke bar layouts, and in-house security and rigging teams, we can help you deliver your event, exhibition, or conference with confidence.

Our highly adaptable conference room layouts allow us to accommodate from 15 up to 250 attendees, allowing us to offer you a bespoke solution to your conference requirements. We can also provide onsite power, VLAN internet connections, two giant LED and other presentation screens, an integrated PA system, air conditioning, and a variety of food and beverage offerings including an extended premises licence.

Morningside Arena has onsite parking including dedicated disabled parking bays and charging points for electric vehicles. If you are travelling to The Arena, we also have superb transport links being only a 10–15-minute walk from Leicester train, bus and coach stations. The Arena is also only a 15-minute drive from Junction 21 of the M1, and a 10-minute walk from multiple parking options within Leicester City.

We also have the largest solar power system in Leicester, with 980 250W solar panels which can supply up to 245 kWh at peak times. Our water is heated by ground source heat pumps providing the Arena with eco-friendly heating and hot water year-round, and we also have electric vehicle charging stations onsite. Our target is to reach carbon net zero, reduce the environmental impact of hosting events, and help deliver a greener Leicester!
