Throughout the whole of the Christmas period the city is decorated with lights and trees and Town Hall square is transformed into a winter wonderland, including a classic moving tableaux.  A magical hideaway in the city centre for children and adults alike featuring:- The 12 days of Christmas, Woodland Tales, Nativity Scene and Town Hall Square Lights.

The 1914 Christmas Truce
